In the commercial property market, occupier demand grew slightly, supporting rental growth, with rent rises roughly in line with consumer price inflation. The construction industry also continued to grow, with the outlook staying bright. In the residential sector, house price growth accelerated for the fifth consecutive month, reaching its fastest pace since May 2004.
