Growth in the second quarter came in a little above that recorded in the first three months of the year at 0.8%. Most of the more timely surveys of the business community also paint a generally upbeat picture. The RICS Commercial Market Survey for Q2 shows that business demand for commercial property remained firm in the second quarter at close to a seven year high.
