520 _aReveals a generally positive response to government's "Consultation on site waste management plans for the construction industry" (L137400), with 75% of respondents supporting the introduction of statutory Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs). In addition, 85% of respondents believed SWMPs could help to improve resource efficiency. Views were mixed regarding the level of SWMP thresholds and the best type of criteria to use when setting minimum requirements, although project value is likely to be most practical.
