520 _aPress release reports that the residential property market is still showing signs of the rush to market properties before the introduction of Home Information Packs (HIPs). September showed a continuing decline in new instructions across the country compared with 12 months previously. 73% of survey respondents reported a decline. The worst affected areas were East Anglia and the West Midlands. London remains least affected due to the predominance of smaller properties. However it is expected to match the rest of the country when HIPs are rolled out to smaller properties. Statistics.
