In this first review, figures for the final quarter of 2007 show a 1.3% fall in the value of rented houses over the previous three months, resulting from house price value falls. The average value of rented flats fell by 1.1% across the country. Achievable rent levels have increased over the previous six months, with 72% of respondents in London and 44% in the rest of the UK reporting that this was the case.
