Considers which retailers are the most mobile; and which are at the cutting edge of the globalisation of retailing. Finds that 90% of retailers surveyed had a presence outside their country of origin, although the scale differed greatly. Finds that just under 15% of the retailers surveyed have a global network covering more than thirty markets. However, nearly half had some presence in each of the three global regions.
