490 _aRICS Housing Market Survey United Kingdom
_vJune 2008
520 _aThe balance of Chartered Surveyors reports a slight rise in the average house price, in addition to a rise in the RICS house price balance for the second consecutive month (although the balance remains strongly negative). 88% more Chartered Surveyors reported a fall than a rise in house prices, a decrease from 92.2% in May. The trend of increased difficulty in obtaining firm credit is demonstrated by the continuing collapse in transactions. Also, the average number of transactions per surveyor (over the last three months) is now at 15.3, the lowest figure since the survey began.
