520 _aThis update follows the end of the first stage of the eco-towns consultation (see also L143062) and sets out the proposed criteria and planning process for eco-towns (announced by Government on 22 July 2008) and provides an updated list of locations and where to find out more about the proposals. It also sets out how the second stage of consultation will work and describes the work underway to assess the proposals across Government and with local authorities and other stakeholders.
