The Project is intended to increase the profitability of a farm over a three year period, by bringing the farmer together with other rural professionals who agree and implement improvements with him. There are 11 monitor farms currently in operation in Scotland and five have finished the 3 year programme. Suggests that the Project has succeeded in its aim of achieving business improvements on the Monitor Farms, as well as amongst the groups working with the farmers, and the wider farming community.
