520 _aFinds that UK house prices have fallen by 10.2% since December 2007. The mix-adjusted house price was £199 337 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices fell by 6.4% in the quarter ending December 2008, compared with a fall of 3% in the quarter ending September 2008. Average house prices fell by 6% in Scotland, and in England (10.4%); Wales (10.3%) and Northern Ireland (17.9%). Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in August 2008 were 13% lower than a year ago. House prices paid by former owner occupiers were 9.2% lower.
