520 _aFinds that UK house prices have fallen by 12.3 % since February 2008. The mix-adjusted house price was £189 813 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices fell by 4.8% in the quarter ending February 2009, compared with a fall of 4.3% in the quarter ending November 2008. Average house prices fell by 8.6 % in Scotland, 12.4% in England, 12.5% in Wales and 19.4% in Northern Ireland. Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in February 2009 were 15.1% lower than a year ago. House prices paid by former owner occupiers were 11.2% lower.
