520 _aFinds that UK house prices have fallen by 13.6% since March 2008. The mix-adjusted house price was £187 193 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices fell by 3.8% in the quarter ending March 2009, compared with a fall of 6.4% in the quarter ending December 2008. Average house prices fell by 9.8% in Scotland, 13.8% in England, 13.0% in Wales and 16.1% in Northern Ireland. Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in March 2009 were 16.7% lower than a year ago. House prices paid by former owner occupiers were 12.4% lower.
