520 _aFinds that UK house prices have fallen by 10.7% since June 2008. The mix-adjusted house price was £191 423 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices rose by 2.6% in the quarter ending June 2009, compared with a fall of 3.8% in the quarter ending March 2009. Average house prices fell by 7.1% in Scotland, 10.7% in England, 12.2% in Wales and 23.0% in Northern Ireland. Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in June 2009 were 11.7% lower than a year ago. House prices paid by former owner occupiers were 10.3% lower.
