However, the impact has been the most severe in the United States, Japan and much of Europe. All regions registered higher vacancies and most registered falling rents. Office investment transaction activity levels in most regions was down on H1 2008 levels. Concludes that the outlook for the rest of 2009 is a further weakening of fundamentals with little prospect of recovery until 2010 at least.
