520 _aPresents the results of the state of the trade survey of the first quarter of 2010. Reports that the amount of specialist contractors reporting working at more than 75% capacity rose to 52% of respondents. There is some difficulty in skilled labour recruitment, with the balance at -26%. The balances for increases in enquiries and orders are now at 36% and 39% respectively, which is the first positive balance since Q1 2008. 62% of specialist contractors report increases in suppliers' prices. Suggests that those reporting decreasing tender prices stood at 70%. 63% expect margins to reduce.
