520 _aProvides advice to those practising as adjudicators when Scots Law applies. RICS has produced a guidance note entitled Surveyors acting as adjudicators in the construction industry, 2nd edition dated March 2008, which should be used where the applicable law is that of England and Wales (see E143425). However, this "Scottish guidance note" builds on the English version to account for peculiarities in Scots Law. This guidance note is intended to assist the parties themselves and those acting for them, by making them aware of the procedures likely to be followed.
520 _aSupersedes first edition (ISBN 1854190504). Superseded by 3rd edition (ISBN 9781783210077).
