520			_aUK house prices decreased by 2% since June 2010 and increased by 0.6% since May 2011. The mix-adjusted average house price was £204 981 in June 2011 (not seasonally adjusted). UK house prices fell by 0.5% in the quarter ending June 2011 the same level of decrease as in the quarter ending March 2011(seasonally adjusted). Annual average house prices fell by 1.8% in England, 5.6% in Scotland, 5.6% in Wales and 8.1% in Northern Ireland. Annual average house prices paid by first time buyers in June were 2.2 lower than a year ago. Average house prices paid by former owner occupiers decreased by 2%. Annual average house prices paid for new properties in June 2011 were 3.2% higher than a year ago. By comparison average house prices paid on pre-owned dwellings were 2.4% lower.
