520			_aCA 4 May 1988 Appeal by the council (D) against a cc decision that a lecturer Alan Dyer (A) had the right to buy a staff house from D under the provisions of Housing Act 1980 , as amended by Housing and Building Control Act 1984 . The cc judge held that the house was within the curtilage of any relevant property owned by D within the meaning of Housing Act 1980 Sched 1 para 1 . On appeal by D, the CA upheld the cc`s decision that A was entitled to exercise the right to buy under the 1980 Act and the appeal was accordingly dismissed.
