Looks at the ways to enhance learning through better understanding of feedback on assessment of construction law by students and tutors. A key proposal derived from the interpretation of the research is that students of construction law should be actively involved in the construction of feedback and that dialogue on the feedback should be an integral part of the learning process. The findings suggest that that a more informal approach to assessment and feedback would enhance learning by encouraging enquiry, discussion, risk-taking and originality.
