520 _aA paper presented at the COBRA Conference in New Delhi on 10-12 September 2013. Looks at new approaches to Efficient Project Deliveries (EPD). The aim of EPD is to provide a contracting mechanism that takes advantage of the positive aspects of design-build and refines its inherent redundancies and inefficiencies. In essence EPD allows the architect and owner to discuss and agree upon aesthetic concerns while the contractors and consultants are contractually engaged in order to deliver the project in its most efficient manner.
