Investigates the application of sugarcane bagasse ash (SBA), crusher dust (CD) and lime (L) for producing sustainable, energy efficient and light weight bricks. From experimentation it was observed that SBA-CD-L have higher compressive strength (200%), lower density (12 - 20%),and better finish surface and economical in comparison with commercially available conventional burnt clay bricks. The proposed innovative sustainable construction material can further be manufactured at large scale for better technology transfer to the community.
