Explores the potential benefits and limitations of using integrated BIM (Building Information Modeling) and field layout technology in plumbing installation. In other words, how much, if any, cost savings can be achieved through the integration of BIM and field layout technologies, and what requirements must be met to maximize these savings? Research confirms that the use of these technologies reduces the plumbing layout costs dramatically. The future advancements in field layout technology were also explored and are expected to continue increasing labour efficiencies in the industry.
