The research by Colliers CRE concludes that since the revised planning guidance notes PPG6 and PPG7 were introduced in 1997, there has been a reduction in retail park space being built each year, with the level now standing at 2m-2.5m sq ft from the 1997 high of 4.7m sq ft.
