_v 19 May 2004 (3)
520 _aCBI survey, "A results overview of the regional survey of UK economic trends", shows that firms expect business to improve in every UK region during the second half of 2004. Domestic orders increased in firms in all regions over the last 12 months and the pace of growth is expected to increase over the next year. Output will also increase espcially in the southwest, East Midlands and the northeast. This will lead to increasing employment, particularly in London.
