520 _a"RICS residential lettings survey Great Britain" for the three months to the end of April 2004 shows that there is little evidence that buy-to-let investors want to sell up despite recent interest rate increases and speculation about a housing market. Slight upward pressure on rents caused by stronger tenant demand is expected to continue. In April, 23% more surveyors reported a rise in lettings activity than a fall, 8% more surveyors reported higher rents than a fall and 22% more surveyors reported a rise in new instructions than a fall. The survey is available at http://www.rics.org/resources/economic_analysis/re sidential_market_survey.html. http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRe lease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=1184&facul ty=RICS
