520 _aOutlines the recommendations of the Brooke Review Committee, set up to investigate how the RICS could best respond to the needs of its members. "The Brooke report" (J126458) published on 7 June 2004 makes 44 recommendations. These include devolving more responsibility to local associations and enhancing the role of the three UK national associations, reorganising the existing 16 faculties into three groups, addressing communication issues to reduce information overload, the re-launch the RICS website, adopting a more member friendly tone and plain speaking in all communications to members, reviewing the RICS' self-regulatory role and enhancing the role of RICS Matrics. It is expected that the recommendations could be implemented immediately or within the next 12 months. Sets out a draft timetable for implementation of recommendations.
