520 _aRICS Governing Council has approved the Brooke Review in principle at its 28-29 June 2004 meeting. Further discussion on the detail is needed but implementation plans for the 43 separate Brooke recommendations can begin. The RICS estates strategy was also moved forward following the presentation of consultants Drivers Jonas comprehensive review of the four RICS headquarters buildings. Governing Council decided to explore an option separating 11 and 12 Great George Street, selling or leasing number 11 and completely refurbishing number 12, thus maintaining RICS Westminster presence. Cadogan Gate's lease is to be sold and the Coventry premises updated.
