490 _aRICS Press Release
_v(pr069) 20 July 2004 (2)
520 _aAccording to the latest "RICS housing market survey of Great Britain", average house price inflation slowed in the three months to June 2004 to the slowest pace in 10 months. This is due in part to interest rate rises and the Bank of England's recent warnings over market prospects. The number of new properties coming onto the market and the amount of unsold properties on estate agents' books both showed a moderate increase.
