| 520 | _aAccording to the latest "BCIS tender price index", the price of new construction work in the UK rose more slowly than general inflation in the year to first quarter 2004. Tender prices rose by 1.5% compared with a 2.6% increase in general inflation. However new work output is forecast to rise in 2004.
