520 _aThe "Hometrack August survey of the national housing market" again reports a -0.1% fall in average house prices, taking the price to £152 100. Average sales price achieved as a percentage of asking price fell further to 94.9%, down from 95.5% in July. This indicates that the tide is definitely turning against the seller. Overall 26 counties recorded price falls. The average time it takes to sell has also risen to 5.3 weeks - up from 4.8 weeks in July.
