520 _aFPDSavills has reported a fall in returns for mixed-use schemes - from 18% in 2002 to just 14.2 in 2003. Despite this fall they outperformed single-use developments by 0.6% points, according to the latest "Mixed use research bulletin". The report also says that variation between mixed-use and single-use buildings is shrinking and although the former has outperformed the latter in the longer term, total returns are now only slightly superior in the short term. http://www.fpdsavills.co.uk/research.asp?category= Development&dateFrom=&dateTo=
