_aBuilding _v269(8347) 3 September 2004, 20(1) |
||
| 520 | _aEmap Glenigan, on behalf of "Building", has released contractor figures for the month of July 2004 and overall annual figures for 1 August 2003-31 July 2004. In July 2004, Galliford Try grabbed the top contractor spot - helped by winning the £125m contract to build the new roof on Wimbledon Centre Court - a job that won't start until 2006. Other strong performers were Headcrown, Tolent Construction and Mace - whose one contract for British Land for a £100m block in the city put the firm in sixth. The July newcomers had little effect on the annual league where the top five retained their positions - this lack of movement could also be seen in the architect, quantity surveyor and client annual lists. | ||
