| 520 | _aRegulations laid at the beginning of September 2004 before the UKparliament have now come into force. Business Improvement Districts will allow local authorities and businesses to work together, to put in to place local projects to improve town centres and business districts. They will be funded by a levy raised on the local business rate. Businesses will have the opportunity to agree on the projects for which they are contributing and to vote on the amount of money they are prepared to raise. http://www.odpm.gov.uk/pns/DisplayPN.cgi?pn_id=200 4_0223 | ||
