520 _a[2004] EWCA Civ 200, 26 February 2004. SoS sought a possession order under the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 Part 55.1(b) against a group of travellers, including Drurywho trespassed on land owned by SoS. The order was made against persons unknown and extended to land beyond the land initially occupied by the travellers following concern that the travellers would occupy another area of SoS owned woodland. Discussed whether the court had jurisdiction to make such a possession order. "Held": appeal allowed in part. The court did have jurisdiction but there had to be evidence that the travellers were liable to trespass in other areas of woodland. View at www.bailii.org.
