It calls for all of the political parties to state how they will deliver affordable housing in sustainable communities in the next parliament. The NHF want the parties to commit to a range of policies including, amongst others: ensuring that building regulations should require all new homes to built to Lifetime Home Standard, including 20% built to the Wheelchair Standard; improve land supply for affordable housing in rural areas and provide tax breaks for housing associations.
