520 _aThe "Sustainable Development in Government (SDiG) third annual report 2004" has just been published. The report provides a snapshot of the way in which government departments managed their land and buildings during the period April 2003 to March 2004. It is an independent assessment of how well departments are doing in meeting the government's own targets on sustainable operations.. The report is based on a questionnaire which was completed by each of the 20 central government departments which were then analysed independently by Pricewaterhouse Coopers. The full report can be accessed at: http://www.sustainable-development.gov.uk/sdig/rep orts/index.htm. http://www.defra.gov.uk/news/2004/041130d.htm
