520 _aA package of measures to help end the backlog in planning appeals has been launched by the Planning Minister. They include an extra £1m for the Planning Inspectorate and extending the time period in which someone can appeal from three months to six months. Also included is a package of measures which changes the target time for local authorities to process large applications.
