Kent County Council launched its No Use Empty campaign in 2005 which offers 3 forms of financial assistance, including a loan scheme to help owners and developers refurbish or convert empty homes, a partnership fund with District Councils in the county to take enforcement action such as issuing CPOs and a direct purchase scheme allowing council to acquire empty properties for development into housing. | ||
