245 _aAn Open Letter to Ian Jeffery, CEO of the Law Society
260 _bProperty Lawyers Action Group,
_c2 April 2024
520 _aIn an open letter to the Law Society, PLA asks the Society to withdraw the latest version of the property information form TA6 that was designed to support National Trading Standards' Estates and Lettings guidance on "material information" required for property listings. The letter urges the Society to indefinitely postpone implementing the latest version, saying that it and TA7 contravenes the Society's conveyancing quality scheme policy "to discourage the practice of raising enquiries about every conceivable matter that could possibly affect a transaction, in favour of fewer targeted, relevant enquiries"
