520 _aRICS, in partnership with Confidencial Imobiliario, produces the Portuguese Housing Market Survey, a sentiment survey that collects and analyses the opinions of professionals in agency and development about the prices, availability and demand of residential property in three areas of the country: Greater Lisbon, Greater Oporto and the Algarve. In February 2024 near-term outlook remains fairly subdued but twelve month expectations strengthen. The results of the February 2024 RICS/Ci PHMS point to a broadly steady backdrop across the sales market, with many indicators sitting in neutral territory for this month. In the lettings market, tenant demand growth appears to have lost a bit of steam, although the lack of supply continues to drive a modest increase in rents.
