520 _aTeesside was recently named by the Government as one of four new Urban Development Corporations to be set up over the next two years. Cleveland`s chief planning officer describes the aims of the Cleveland Initiative , a public/private partnership which is already committed to generating industry and employment along the Tees Corridor . It is hoped that its existence will not be jeopardised by the new UDC. Also describes the thinking behind the proposed Cleveland Business Centre to be located in Middlesbrough , a community project aimed at economic regeneration .
