The buildings ranged from nissen-type huts and sectional office accommodation to canteens, a pub and a laundry. Plant and machinery auctioneers, Ryden Henry Butcher conducted the sale. Among several conclusions to be drawn from this successful venture are the fact that buildings can be regarded as moveable assets and the expense of the sale was justified by the realisation achieved in each case which exceeded scrap or reclaimable material value. | ||
