Contracts, which were conditional on the granting of planning permission, made provision for a deposit of 20%. PWA became insolvent and the plaintiffs appealed the decision to dismiss their claim for return of their deposits, contending they had liens on the property to protect the deposits. "Held" the purchasers of flats to be constructed are entitled to lien to secure their deposits.
