520 _aCA 13 October 1995 the appellant was leaseholder of a property she could not afford to renovate. She entered into an agreement with a builder who agreed to do the repairs at his own expense, the property was then to be sold and he would get a proportion of the proceeds. The property could not be sold so conveyance of freehold to builder in return for lease and option to purchase alternative property, but the lease was not granted. The appeal against the decision to set aside the conveyance was allowed.
