520			_aA DoE consultation paper outlines measures to prevent dereliction and increase landowners` financial responsibilities for reclaiming derelict land. These include extending the use of restoration conditions in planning permissions and additional powers to enable local authorities to reclaim derelict land not in their ownership and to seek financial contribution from the owner. The Derelict Land Grant will be increased by 21% next year to £106m. Table shows distribution of the DLG resources region by region.
