520 _a"Lewis-Graham and another v Conacher" CA 28 October 1991. A tenant`s appeal against a landlord`s recovery of possession was dismissed. The landlord wanted to make two separate buildings out of the property, seeking benefits under Rent Act 1977 s12, and set about separating his accommodation and the tenant`s but this process was found to be incomplete at expiry of the notice to quit. At that time the tenant`s accommodation was not separate and since there was no protected tenancy or statutory tenancy the landlord was entitled to possession.
