520 _aCA 11 July 1990. Appeal by the houseowner, (B), that a firm of surveyors , (H), was negligent and in breach of duty of care in undervaluing the reinstatement costs of the house for insurance purposes divided the opinion of the Court of Appeal, which, however, by a majority dismissed the appeal since the valuation , on which B relied was in fact prepared by H for the mortgagee and H was reasonably unaware that it was to be used by B.
