520 _aIf current pressure on the Government is successful, major changes in the Building Regulations may well be introduced, bringing them into line with European equivalents. Should that arise, new methods of thermal insulation and ventilation will be due for examination. One such technique is the termodeck system, which is dependent on the use of hollow floor slabs in heavyweight buildings . It is a critique of this system which is presented here.
