520			_aNew Orders and Regulations have been laid under the Estate Agents Act 1979 to protect the consumer in dealings with estate agents. The legislation will require, among other things, that the agent declares any personal interest in the property transaction, informs the vendor in writing of any offers made on the property and explains in writng terms such as " sole agency " and " sole selling rights ".
