| 520 | _aCA 9 August 1991. Appeal by tenant (M) against a possession order granted to landlord (E) by the cc upon expiry of a fixed term tenancy granted to M for 23 months. No notice to quit was issued. M`s claim to be entitled to remain in possession at the end of the term on the grounds that the tenancy was a business tenancy under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Part II was dismissed. Considered "Gladstone v Bower" decision. Confirmed that a tenancy of agricultural land of more than one year but less than two years is a tenancy of an agricultural holding within the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. Held that there is no security of tenure for a tenancy of less than two years. Appeal dismissed. | ||
